As a general rule, you can put most things in a skip bin as long as they’re not hazardous. This includes items like furniture, appliances, electronics, and green waste. Most construction materials, such as wood, concrete, bricks, and drywall, can also be disposed of in our skip bins.

Certain items are considered hazardous and cannot be disposed of in a skip bin. These include asbestos, paint, tyres, batteries, liquids, food waste, chemicals and medical waste.

Overfilling a skip bin is dangerous and can cause accidents. That’s why we ask that you don’t fill skip bins any higher than their rim or sides. If a bin is overloaded, you must remove some of the contents before our team can collect it.

Yes! We offer a range of sizes of skip bins, from 2m³, 3m³, 4m³, 5m³, to 6m³.

Each bin has its own weight limit, please contact us to discuss them.

LD Skip Bins provides skip bins to Bathurst and the surrounding region.

If you’re placing the skip bin on your private property, like your driveway or front yard, you do not need a permit.

However, if you plan to put a skip on public land, then yes, you will need to get a permit. Our team can help you with the application process and advise which council area you need to apply for the permit in.

It is essential to ensure the skip bin is placed on a flat and level surface. We recommend placing the skip at least 2 meters away from buildings and vehicles. Most of our customers use their driveway.
